What this blog is all about, and what it’s not.
I come from a very flat and static industry, telephones. Not exactly an exciting viral opportunity for a blog following and not usually a talking point around the water cooler.
Although I already have a technical blog around VoIP I began to read other blogs I came across from other start-ups like Groove and Neil Patel , a whole other world was opened up to me.
Industry terms I wasn’t yet familiar with were soon added to my vocabulary like “teams”, “onboarding”, “metrics” and most importantly the message of creating a blog with quality content in order to help your business while helping others.
To do this I had to think about what I know, but like I mentioned the VoIP business just won’t do. There is one other thing I know quite a lot about, being a small tech start-up. I’m not talking about advanced A/B testing, our journey to 500k (I wish) or our results for spending 10k on Facebook ads.
I’ll be writing more about how to save you time on building your website, how to source technical projects for non-tech founders and tips & tricks for small technical start-up’s. I wanted to create this post to both provide a clear idea of what our readers can expect out of this, as well as have it serve as a reminder of what we set out to accomplish with this blog.
If you took the time to read this, thank you very much and please subscribe, give me your feedback if possible and I hope to provide you with valuable content that helps your business.
